Hama Material Information

We want to give you information about the production and packaging of Hama products, so that users of these products can dispose of the materials properly after use.

Hama products are developed, produced and packaged at our factory in Nykøbing Mors, Denmark.

The table below explains the abbreviations used on the following pages and what the various materials are used for.

Abbreviation Material Usage
A-PET Amorphous Polyethylene Terephthalate Blister window, lids for trays
Cardboard Cardboard is both recycled and FSC-certified Cartons, boxes, blister cards, buckets, sleeves, header cards
LDPE4 Polyolefin Shrink wrap
Nickel-plated iron Nickel-plated iron Rivets in buckets
Paper Paper is both recycled and FSC-certified Ironing instructions, design sheets, ironing paper
PE Polyethylene Beads, foils with and without print, handle on buckets, windows in the boxes
PET PET Polyethylene terephthalate Tubs
PP Polypropylene 4-sided boxes, storage boxes, lids, bead supports
